Graduate Painting Series, 2021

Ideas I explored while developing this digital painting series are related to the human form and mechanical elements, the earth's crust and the motion of a landslide. The paintings begin in a representational style and move into abstraction. The narrative of this work presents interesting metaphors and prompts viewers to consider questions of subject, theme and intent of the work.
